No, it's not a secret but rather just never discussed. There's a great sign heading on the cape that says "Mashpee Sandwich" (an exit for two cape towns) and I always thought that sounded like a terrible lunch item. It may have even been the original first name.

TASM Lab - The Big Picture
One of the last paintings done in art school (1993), probably right after "A Magnet to his mother's love". This painting was the first appearance of the blue bunnies, which pop up a lot in later paintings. There's a glare from the photography, which I appologize for.
