Boy, maybe, can't quite remember as it's almost 20 years (!) since its inception.

I think I picked it because it meant 'not moving' and it rhymed with my own last name.

Great sleuthing though!

True or False: In Thing & Nothing, Simon Still's last name comes from your own line sung by Christmas, "Simon s(S)till holds his love for me." At first he was just Simon. ?

TASM Lab - The Big Picture

Featuring the USSLHB being sad playing his bass guitar. Somehow there's nothing so sad as boy who gets to do nothing all day except go to an easy college, play in a punk band, meet girls and drink beer all day. In the background, you can see another painting (which is not yet on this site, as it hangs at my friend D. Austin Nash's house) which is of my friend Joel Johnson, who could never sleep. This would date the painting in 1989 when I lived with Joel in the "eat house", or the "stink house" as some other clever ones would later call it. Although this embarrasses me now, I remember that certain risks are inherent when making art (as I'll probably feel in 10 years after I listen to the "Penisgeek Chrestomathy".)
